The Early Learning Centre caters for all cultures and our aim is to meet all children's individual needs.
Kununurra is a community located in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia and is home to approx. 5,000 people, with a transient population increase during the dry season of May - September that can result in a doubling of the population. Located 3,214kms from Perth, Western Australia, Kununurra is closer to Darwin (820kms) with the Northern Territory border located just 37kms from the township.
Known predominantly for the Ord River Scheme, resulting in Australia’s largest artificial lake, Lake Argyle, the close proximity to the Bungle Bungles and the Argyle Diamond Mine, Kununurra has an Aboriginal heritage that dates back over 40,000 years with the Rock Art within the region being recognised as some of the best examples in the world.
